Keto Berry Smoothie - Creamy, Low-Carb, and Refreshing

Prep Time 5 minutes
Total Time 5 minutes
Servings: 2 servings

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup frozen mixed berries (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, or blackberries)
  • 1/2 cup full-fat coconut milk (from a can) or heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (or other unsweetened low-carb milk)
  • 1–2 tablespoons almond butter or peanut butter (no added sugar)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds or ground flaxseed
  • 1 scoop unflavored or vanilla low-carb protein powder (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Low-carb sweetener to taste (monk fruit, stevia, or erythritol), optional
  • 4–6 ice cubes (more for a thicker texture)

Method

  1. Add liquids first: Pour coconut or heavy cream and almond milk into the blender. This helps the blades catch everything smoothly.
  2. Add the rest: Toss in berries, nut butter, chia or flax, protein powder (if using), vanilla, sea salt, sweetener, and ice.
  3. Blend until smooth: Start low, then increase speed. Blend 30–60 seconds, scraping down the sides if needed.
  4. Adjust texture: Add more ice for thickness or a splash of almond milk to thin it out.
  5. Taste and tweak: If you want it sweeter, add a little more low-carb sweetener and blend again.
  6. Serve immediately: Pour into a chilled glass and enjoy right away for the best texture.
